First of all, thanks to Rob for suggesting Liverpool History Society Questions, a blog for posting and reading about questions to do with Liverpool’s history. It also contains some great links.

Hurricane films, who made Of Time and the City have a fascinating site called People’s Stories: Liverpool Lives where, in their own words, Hurricane films are expanding the Community from the ‘Of Time and the City’ website into a brand new reminiscence website based on the central themes of Terence Davies’s original film. The new website is called ‘People’s Stories – Liverpool Lives’. The site’s packed full of memories and images of Liverpool.

Liverpool Preservation Trust is certain to create debate. It’s a passionate, highly detailed look at the huge tensions between preserving heritage and ‘regeneration’ and development. Guaranteed to heat up any discussion!

Nerve Magazine  from catalystmedia is itself something of a Liverpool fixture now after years of encouraging local contributors to produce high quality artwork, reviews, articles, poetry, historical accounts, and political and cultural coverage. It’s particularly focused on working class histories and challenges to the voices of the powerful on issues which affect us all.

That’s How the Light Gets In is a wonderful,beautifully presented site from Gerry Condon. Reflections, poetry, art, culture in general and history plus some great walks.Inspiring!
